This appendix summarizes the principal engineering phases described throughout Volume III. It is intended as a chronological navigation aid rather than an exhaustive implementation record. Detailed repository history, technical specifications, and deployment evidence are provided in subsequent appendices.
The timeline reflects the architectural progression documented in this volume. Individual engineering activities may have overlapped across phases.
| Period | Primary Engineering Focus | Representative Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| January 2026 | Initial governance runtime, execution lifecycle, deterministic validation. | First governance engine. |
| February 2026 | Runtime governance, policy-oriented execution, lifecycle refinement. | Governance runtime architecture. |
| March 2026 | Replay capability, immutable execution history, traceability. | Replay-oriented governance model. |
| April 2026 | Execution boundaries, runtime validation, contextual governance. | Preventive execution control. |
| May 2026 | Evidence-bound governance, admissibility concepts. | Evidence-supported execution decisions. |
| Late May 2026 | Architectural convergence. | Constitutional Execution Infrastructure (CEI). |
| June 2026 | Enterprise scaling, runtime APIs, governance services. | Reusable constitutional infrastructure. |
| July 2026 | Governance operating environment, AI participation, enterprise orchestration. | Governance Operating System direction. |
Each engineering phase addressed limitations identified during the previous phase. Rather than replacing earlier work, later stages progressively integrated authority, policy, replay, evidence, admissibility, and runtime governance into a coherent execution architecture.
This document forms part of the CEI publication record. Supporting evidence is organized through the engineering-evidence archive, specifications, architecture documentation and replay verification materials.
